What is Expodite?

Expodite is global trade management software for US importers and exporters. It runs purchase orders, landed cost and tariffs, sales orders, shipments, export documents, AES filing, denied party screening and payments in one system. You enter data once, and it flows through every step.

How does Expodite work out landed cost?

Each product has its HTS code and country of origin. Expodite adds the base duty, any extra tariffs for that country or material, the merchandise processing and harbor maintenance fees, freight, insurance and your own costs, then shows the cost per piece and your margin.

What happens when a tariff rate changes?

The new rate is entered once, with the date it starts. Expodite recalculates every open purchase order that uses that HTS code and country, and alerts you to the ones that fall below your margin floor.

Does Expodite file AES?

Yes. Expodite fills the Electronic Export Information from the order and shipment, checks it, files it in AES and saves the ITN on the shipment and its documents.

Which lists does the denied party screening check?

The Consolidated Screening List published by the US government, which brings together lists from the Departments of Commerce, State and the Treasury.

How long does it take to go live?

2 to 4 weeks. In that time we set up your products, documents and approvals, and train your users.
